Mountheath Trading Estate, Prestwich

Bloc was instructed by the landlord to oversee fire remediation works to three units within the estate following a significant fire incident. The project involved coordinating the necessary structural investigations and intrusive inspections to assess the extent of damage, together with developing an appropriate scope of remedial works to reinstate the affected units.

Bloc undertook a full competitive tender exercise and managed the works on site throughout the project, coordinating contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure the programme progressed efficiently and safely while minimising disruption across the wider estate.

Extensive liaison was also required with the insurer and loss adjuster throughout the works to substantiate project costs and support the recovery of associated expenditure upon completion.
